 Blanco Lake(5.000 ha)
Located in Tierra del Fuego island, southbound of Magellan Strait. Between Cordillera Darwin mountain chain, sorounded by native wet forest. Somedays much windy makes difficult to shott fly but fishing is easy un large cuantities. In the center of the lake there is an island with a lodge. ¿How to reach? By plane to Punta Arenas, southern city of Chile, crossing Magellan Strait in ferry to arrive to Porvenir after 2 1/2 hours. A 265 km. of gravell roads sourrounding Inutil Bay arriving to Río Grande area. A confortable lodge is available for fishermen (look map). ¿Where and How Fishing? In the Blanco Lake there are many places with too many brown trouts. The best month is march, when fishes come up from the Atlantic Ocean throu Rio Grande River, fron Argentine to Chile seccion of the Tierra del Fuego Island. (look photos).
